What is a Workflow section
| ▪ | A Workflow section allows you to group certain tasks together by naming and colour coding them in the Process Map |
| ▪ | Workflow sections can be vertical or horizontal |
| ▪ | Another name for Workflow Sections is Swim Lanes |
HOW TO ADD A WORKFLOW SECTION
| ▪ | Open your local Kontinuum website |
| ▪ | Login with Username and Password given to you by your Kontinuum Administrator |
| ▪ | Select Admin → Workflow from the top menu bar |
| ▪ | Expand the Workflows folder by clicking the + icon |
| ▪ | Navigate to the workflow you want to add a workflow section for. |
| ▪ | Click once on the Section Labels |
| ▪ | Select Add Workflow Section from the pop up menu |
| ▪ | Click once on the Submit button when all required properties have been completed |
| ▪ | Click once on the Workflow name |
| ▪ | Select Design from the pop up menu |
| ▪ | The Process Map will refresh and the new Section will appear |
Definition of Section Name
| ▪ | Name of the Workflow Section as it will be displayed to the end User in the Process Map and Workflow Stages window |
| ▪ | This name must be unique across the workflow |
Definition of Section Colour
| ▪ | The Section Colour is the colour that will be shown in the background |
| ▪ | The syntax is: Enter either Blue or an RGB Code such as #ffffff for white |
Definition of Starting Horizontal Position (x)
| ▪ | The left most X co-ordinate in which the background colour will appear |
Definition of Starting Vertical Position (y)
| ▪ | The top most Y co-ordinate in which the background colour will appear |
Definition of ENDING HORIZONTAL Position (x)
| ▪ | The right most Y co-ordinate in which the background colour will appear |
Definition of Ending Vertical Position (y)
| ▪ | The bottom most Y co-ordinate in which the background colour will appear |
Definition of Display Name Location (x)
| ▪ | X co-ordinate where the Section Name will appear |
