Definition of User Name
| ▪ | The User Name is what the user logs in with |
| ▪ | This name is also stored in all database records that the User creates or modifies |
| ▪ | Each user within the workflows suite must have a unique user name |
| ▪ | This is a required field when creating a User |
Definition of Display Name
| ▪ | This holds the Display Name of the User |
| ▪ | I.e. The User name may be jbloggs and the Display Name could be Jason Bloggs |
Definition of Display Description
| ▪ | This can hold a detailed description of the User |
| ▪ | I.e. Information about their roles and responsibilities within the organisation |
| ▪ | This is not a required field when creating a User |
Definition of Password
| ▪ | This holds the Password that the user logs into Kontinuum with |
| ▪ | The default minimum for a password is 4 characters and at least one number |
| ▪ | This is a required field when creating a User (Please note Kontinuum can also be set up to use windows active directory users and passwords instead of native Kontinuum passwords. For more information on this please see the Miscellaneous\Active Directory help file ) |
Definition of Inactive
| ▪ | This check box is ticked when a user attempts to log in and is unsuccessful 3 times |
| ▪ | To allow the user access this check box should then be unchecked |
Definition of Secret Question
| ▪ | Enter a question here that the user can answer to verify they are who they say they are |
| ▪ | This allows them to retrieve their password in the event they forget it |
| ▪ | I.e. What is your mother's maiden name |
Definition of Secret Answer
| ▪ | Enter here the answer to the question specified in Secret Question |
| ▪ | Kontinuum will check to see whether the two answers match |
| ▪ | On answering this question correctly, the user will be emailed their password
