To add a news item
| ▪ | Open your local Kontinuum website |
| ▪ | Login with Username and Password given to you by your Kontinuum Administrator |
| ▪ | Select Admin → System from the top menu bar |
| ▪ | Click on the news items folder and from the popup menu click Add News Item |
| ▪ | Fill in the details for the News Item as described in News Item Properties |
| ▪ | Click once on the Submit button to create the new News Item |
| ▪ | The tree will now refresh with the new News Item added |

Definition of NEWS ITEM NAME
| ▪ | The unique name that to call this news item |
Definition of PROGRAM ID
| ▪ | This is the .net assembly and class name that are used to draw the item |
in the format assemblyname.classname
Definition of PARAMETERSTRING
| ▪ | a string of variables passed to the class |
Definition of ShortNAME
| ▪ | text shown when item is maximised |
Definition of DESCRIPTION
| ▪ | text shown when item is minimised
